How do we love our volunteers? Let us count the ways ....
They give up their time and put their energies into helping us achieve our mission to provide safe, reliable transportation to families and individuals referred to Wheels4hope.
1: You spring into action when we need you.
From changing the oil on a donated vehicle to picking up and assessing a newly donated vehicle, we can depend on you! Some days we think there is a contest to see who can get the dirtiest! We do provide gloves for your hands, but how come there is oil on your face?
2: When we ask you deliver!
How many volunteers does it take to push a car into the garage? Just ask 1; they will immediately gather a team to help! (Lightest one gets the driver’s seat.)
3: You consistently give us your time.
Occasionally you go on trips in your free time, but many of you drive to the Wheels4Hope garage 2 days a week to prepare vehicles. We are thankful for each day you share with us, ready to work supporting our local community.
4: You help us celebrate each placement.
We all gather to congratulate each vehicle recipient with the successful steps they are making on their journey. Joyfully a volunteer or staff member hands over the keys to the newly purchased vehicle with a hug or handshake.
5: You lift up families in our community.
This year we aim to place 200 vehicles with individuals and families striving for self-sufficiency. That’s more than one vehicle every 2 days! You help us make our goals a reality.
Come volunteer at Wheels4Hope and share the love!
