This Holiday Season, Wheels4Hope is calling on the local community to be a “Driving Force” and change lives by donating cars which provide affordable, reliable transportation to families in need.
In 2017, Wheels4Hope seeks to place 50 cars, transforming the lives of over 150 individuals and families in the Triad. This is only possible through donated cars which become “new” transportation to referred individuals who pay $500 plus tax and title for their car.
The car donation process is extremely easy. Wheels4Hope coordinates pick up/drop off of your car, handles all of the paperwork and enables you to get a great tax advantage.
Vehicles that are used as program cars and placed with individuals referred to us by an agency partner allow the donors to use fair market value as a tax deduction. Vehicles not used as program cars, are repaired and sold to the general public or sold at auction, allowing donors to use the sales price as a tax deduction. Funds from the sales are used to fund the placement of vehicles with deserving recipients.
Wheels4Hope recognizes that everyone in our community is a “Driving Force”, from the people who donate their cars, to the volunteers and partner garages that repair them, to our congregational partners who share our message
A recent Wheels4Hope vehicle recipient said, “This car means freedom! It will get me to work, give me a chance to be with friends and get me to doctor’s appointments. I can go to church when I want. It’s something of my own. Thank God for organizations like Wheels4Hope.”
